I'm on a roll...

this is my second blog in less than one year. I'm on a freakin' roll.

I'm sitting in a less than savory hotel in Newark, New Jersey. No offense, Newark, but there's some shady shit going on here. But I digress. I am getting ready to get to the airport to fly home (hooray) for a few days. The main reason I'm going home is to shoot the video for Love Song! The other main reason I'm going home is to see my kids.
Just kidding. They're with their father.

I am so excited to make this video. I don't exactly know what to expect, but I love the treatment for it and i can't wait to see it come to life. I don't want to give anything away, but there are a lot of fancy cars and bling in the video. EEEEEEE! Finally! I can be myself!

But I really digress.
this tour has been simply incredible and i am so amazed by each and every city full of people that are coming out to support music. I'll be so sad to end the tour with Jon and his boys (and girl....hi Amy. BFF) but we are excited to be joining Maroon 5 to try and help them get on their feet as a band. I really believe that they have potential, and they just need some help to get butts in the seats, ya know?
We do what we can...

but i really SUPER digress.
the long and the short of it is that I'm so grateful for all the encouragement from all of you. To see this whole project keep growing and evolving is immensely fulfilling and I'm truly touched by all the support. And the cherry on top is that you all encourage me to be...me. I'll always be fiercely defending that too. That's all we can do...

so, see you soon!

love,
me
(defending me)

HAHAHAHAHAHA.
You make me laugh.

That Maroon 5 could be famous someday. I'm sure all the concert-goers will be like, "who's that obscure band that's playing at the Sara Bareilles show? I'm thinking a shade of red and a number..."

Heh, I'll stop trying to be clever now.

You're awesome,
Kevin.

First of all, you are amazingly hilarious. I love bloggers. Keep up the good work on that.

Second of all, I randomly discovered you tonight. And when I say randomly, I mean REALLY. RANDOMLY. I have no idea how it happened. I was watching Conan, and then I wasn't. And in between those two events, somewhere, came my discovery of you. AND I AM IN LOVE. You're an amazing songwriter with one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Good work on that too.

I absolutely can't wait to hear more. More? MORE!

So, in between flipping during commercials of my late night sitcoms, I found you playing on some late night talk show (craig ferguson, maybe)...and I was like "wait...who is this girl? AND WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD HER BEFORE?!" You're so good!

I don't really know what to say to you..

We are a spanish couple and we know you for a year and a half. We are deeply in love with your voice and your lyrics.

You were born to shine, so go up there with those stars and blind them! ;)

Love,

Irene & Esperanza

Ps. I hope you someday will come to Spain! :_)
You can find me on the net as missgaijin or silvarilla.

Ps2. Galleta is cookie in spanish. The other day I saw in a shop a t-shirt with a cookie monster pic and the motto: cookie power! (yay!)
Ok, ok, i'm leaving xP

hey, I LOVE your music, I've been listening to it all day instead of doing my homework, and now, I'm commenting this blog, instead of doing my hw, its a terrible thing really.
Anywho, you should come to Durham NC or somewhere near it, so I can see you in concert

P.S.That "just kidding they're with their father" comment made me laugh.
