A little late to the party...but I just caught a replay of the RRHOF Induction special on HBO and your performance of Stoney End is simply STUNNING!

Amazing, just amazing. Heart, soul, rhythm, blues....Stoney End...can't wait to hear more!

I have the RRHoF performance saved on my TiVo. For some reason, this one seemed very special. I always appreciated Laura Nyro for the deep and passionate music she created until her untimely demise in 1997 I never thought I'd really like Stoney End until I heard Sara sing it on the HBO special, and on YouTube. I felt like she channeled Laura AND Streisand, but yet added a passion and fire to the song that wasn't there until now. I can't get enough of the performance, or of Sara. Sara, you are an amazing talent, and I've become a fan for life. Oh yeah, it sure doesn't hurt that you're also a Bruin, and you won Spring Sing 3 times (for those of you who don't know what that is, Google "UCLA Spring Sing").

Thank you for your talent, thank you for your beauty, and someday I expect to see you in on the waterfront in Cleveland permanently.

I finally got around to watching the induction show and was in tears watching Sara honor one of my favorite artists, Ms. Laura Nyro. You were absolutely stunning with your beautiful and honorable performance. You have a new fan and I will see you live the next time you come through the Pacific Northwest. Come soon!

I just had an opportunity to see the 2012 RRHoF induction ceremony and Sara's performance of Stoney End was breath-taking. To begin with the song is excellent and Sara's interpretation was out of this world. It left me speachless. Is there a way to get this rendition? Will it be out on itunes or will it be potentially part of a new album? I would really appreciate any information on this because I would love to buy it.

Absolutely an incredible performance by Sara. She has the ability to capture the feeling of a song and take it to another level as if it was her own. If you have not had the opportunity to watch her performance of Stoney End, all I can say is ...... MUST SEE TV! You will be a fan forever! Bravo, Sara!

That was an AMAZING performance by Sara of Laura Nyro's Stoney End. The build up to Sara's performance was emotional and touching and was handled beautifully and movingly by Bette Midler and the show's producers. Sadly, Laura Nyro had held only a fleeting spot in my musical consciousness until now...and I'm 54 years old. I had no idea how many meaningful, significant and popular songs Laura had written that were brought to into my world by other artists. At the point Sara came on, I had been fully mesmerized by all that Laura was and all that I imagined her to be--based simply on the few snippets of her life that could be squeezed into this show. I was not sure anyone in the world except Laura Nyro could do her song Stoney End any justice.

And then I heard Sara. I was blown away. Her performance--musically, artistically, visually--was beyond what I could have ever imagined or expected. My DVR suddenly became cost justified. I've played Sara's performance over and over. It's not on YouTube as yet. I hope it becomes available on iTunes soon. Sara is a special young women with incredible talent, a gift that has been refined wonderfully. I could not imagine Laura Nyro would have been anything but proud. I was proud, too, simply because I share the world with such talented people.

All I can say is excellent!

Magical.

Sara more than did justice to Laura Nyro's song. She made it as much hers as Barbra Streisand ever did.

FYI, five years ago I wrote a feature on collegiate a cappella (and I'm a sportswriter). Just thought the entire culture deserved more attention. It was an incredibly fun story to report and write, and that's how I first learned about Sara. Incredible talent, gifted performer.

Hope the entire performance is made available by HBO.com or on YouTube soon. More people need to see it...

I have been a longtime fan of Laura Nyro and have to admit that I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to musicians performing her songs...that said, Ms. Bareilles, you killed Stoney End at the induction ceremony and you now have a new fan!! You are amazing! I will watch your performance again and want to hear more of your music, as well. Thank you!
