Japan is still struggling to get back on their feet after the powerful Tsunami and Earthquakes keep rattling the country. I have joined with a huge roster of other artists (Tori Amos, Brandi Carlile, Ani DiFranco, and many more) who are dedicating a previously unreleased track to aid the efforts in offering some support to the organizations that will help rebuild. It's called SONGS OF LOVE FOR JAPAN, and I can't think of a more appropriate title.
It's only available for 3 days, so please act quickly, if you can!
Thank you for the support.

Here are the facts: Sh*t happened in Japan. There's a lot of great music in the world. Buy music, help survivors in Japan get back on their feet.
Songs Of Love For Japan (SOLFJ) is something my friend Bryce and I came up with a few weeks ago ("hey, let's get 100 artists to give a song for 3 days and sell the bundle to help Japan") and now we are tickled pink that Sara Bareilles, Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, The Submarines, Brandi Carlile, Jeffery Gaines, Antigone Rising (just to name a few) have given a song for this compilation. Oh, and so did I. It's the first song from the new ONE UP record which will be officially released May 17th at The Canal Room. You can hear "Moving Towards Love" fully mastered, fully re-done (with live strings, Shawn Pelton on drums, and a bunch o' singers) on THIS compilation. I'm so proud. So is my mom. More on this new record in a few days, I promise. So click on the banner to the left, head to http://www.solfj.org/ and purchase a bundle of GREAT music, knowing that you made a difference. |
Oh, the sale only goes until Thursday morning, so act now!
xxoo x 100
